Jonas Sandboe
Jonas Sandboe is a 26 year old from Lillestrøm. He is educated as a lecturer in Norwegian and social sciences. Now he is focusing on photojournalism. Jonas has worked for two years for the student newspaper Universitas, and had an internship at LO-media in the fall of 2025. He also has experience from two summers in Hallingdølen, where he created a series for which he later won “Newcomer of the Year” in 2025. The jury described the images in the series as radiating immediacy and closeness, showing an ability to get close to people, and having a personal touch that provides a strong visual narrative. This is an ideal he works towards in all his journalistic work.
